Speaker 1:
Charity Wright, Threat Intelligence Analyst, Recorded Futures
Abstract: Every organization has a unique risk profile based on a number of factors, including the industry it is in, the geographic location, the types of goods and services it provides, and its digital footprint. While most companies today do not have documented intelligence requirements, even fewer clearly understand their company’s risk profile and how to focus their intelligence efforts toward reducing risk. Join Threat Intelligence Consultant Charity Wright on a tailored “adventure” to operationalize threat intelligence in your organization. Given guidance and recommendations along this customizable journey, you will identify your organization’s risk profile, choose which types of threat intelligence are needed to fill collection gaps and map those to relevant actions (automated and manual), including dark web monitoring, that proactively reduces risk.
Charity Wright is a threat intelligence analyst with over fifteen years of experience in the US Army and the National Security Agency, where she served as a Chinese Cryptologic Linguist and Intelligence Analyst. She has been analyzing cyber threats in the private sector since 2015, with a focus on Chinese state-sponsored threats and dark web cybercrime. Charity now researches cyber threat intelligence, influence operations, and strategic intelligence at Recorded Future
Speaker 2:
Jim Fuoco; Systems Engineer, Fortinet Networks
