The head has a carbide-tipped point, preventing the bit from cracking when drilling, & providing longer life to the bit. Excellent for drilling into materials such as glass, tile, mirrors, & ceramics. For best results, drill with low RPM's, & use water or light oil when drilling.   Made in the USA.
