Lo and behold the most eco-friendly glass beads on earth! These beautiful African disk beads are made using recycled glass bottles and scraps by the Krobo people of Ghana. The glass is crushed into a fine powder without the use of machines, then poured into clay molds. The molds are baked in a traditional wood-fired oven, creating these beautiful glass beads. Available in nearly 30 colors. You will receive a full strand, wrapped with raffia. Please note: a large majority of The Bead Chest products are handmade.
