The chronograph function measures up to 60 minutes of elapsed time in 1/5-second increments and includes a split time function, while the solar cell, powered by any light source, with no battery change required, provides a 6-month power reserve when fully charged. Framed by a black tachymeter bezel, the green sunray dial features 24-hour and power reserve indicators, as well as a date calendar and LumiBrite on the hands, markers and the tip of the chronograph hand.

Crafted of stainless steel, this timepiece includes a curved anti-reflective sapphire crystal, secure screwdown caseback and tapered three-link bracelet with tri-fold push button release clasp.

Original model

This solar chronograph watches inherits the iconic designs and styles of the Speedtimer series from the 1960s-70s.
All watches are powered by Seiko’s solar Caliber V192, which has a 60-minute chronograph, a 24-hour sub-dial, and features a power reserveindicator that is displayed at the touch of a button.

Dial

The dial is applied sandblast finishing which ensure high levels of readability and legibility crucial to Prospex sports watch.

Design

The case shape is faithful to the original but its 39mm diameter, the combination of hairline and smooth polishing on the bracelet and the curved sapphire glass bring it right up to date.
