Fleur de Sel (Salt Flower) is a Celtic salt that naturally forms as a thin, delicate crust of intricate snowflake-like crystals on the surface of the marshes of France's western seashores. Unprocessed, it is traditionally harvested in small quantities and only by hand. Naturally rich in essential minerals such as calcium and magnesium, Fleur de Sel can be used in the same way a traditional salt would be or as a a finishing salt to enhance flavor.
