Based on the classic Al-Star, the Lx (pronounced "Luxe") features clips and finials plated in precious metal and matching anodized aluminum bodies. The nibs have also been subtly embellished, featuring stylish laser engraving and a glossy black PVD coating for improved durability. Like the Al-Star, it features a translucent gray triangular grip section and a window in the barrel that lets you see how much ink is left in the pen.
