Our systems do not demineralize or introduce salt or potassium chloride into your water. Instead, we utilize a food grade, scale prevention media that prevents hard water minerals from creating scale, removes existing buildup and also provides an anti-corrosive layer to protect pipes and appliances.Our high pressure stainless steel housing utilizes our 5 micron carbon impregnated pleated cartridge for the first stage and our 5 micron, radial flow catalytic carbon cartridge as the second stage. Both cartridges haveour proprietary scale prevention media designed to prevent and remove harmful scale build up, and will also remove chlorine, chloramines, rust particles, dirt sand, volatile organics compounds (VOCs) and other impurities from your water. Our catalytic carbon provides exceptional chlorine/chloramine/THM removal.Designed for home over 3000 square feet, the new Aquios DS600S is our most powerful, dual stage system that provides superior filtration and hard water scale prevention in a compact and space saving design.
