ABUS ADAPTOR CHAIN Classic 5.5KS – extension for frame locks and Alarmbox 2.0 The ABUS ADAPTOR CHAIN Classic 5.5KS is the ideal addition for anyone who already has a frame lock fitted to their bike. While the frame lock prevents the bike from being pushed away, the insertable chain allows it to be quickly secured to lampposts, fences or bike racks. The chain is also compatible with the ABUS Alarm Box 2.0. The plug-in chain complements the alarm system and provides additional security for your bike, barbecue or pram – simply plug it into the Alarm Box 2.0 and attach it to a fixed object. The 5.5 mm thick chain is made of hardened steel and is available in four lengths (85 cm, 100 cm, 130 cm, 150 cm). The oval loop ring makes it easy to guide through narrow spaces, such as spokes on bicycle tyres. A durable textile coating protects the frame from scratches. Whether for everyday use, commuting or bike tours, the ADAPTOR CHAIN is the flexible solution for added security. The +ST5950 2.0 product variant comes with a practical saddle bag.
